Campaign Settings

The Campaign Settings section allows you to configure how your campaign behaves after it has been created. Here, you can manage general campaign information, display behavior, publishing options, and other settings that control when and how your campaign appears to visitors.
Configuring these settings correctly helps ensure your campaign reaches the right audience and delivers the intended experience.

Accessing Campaign Settings
To open the Campaign Settings:
- Navigate to Campaigns.
- Open an existing campaign or create a new one.
- In the Campaign Editor, select Campaign Settings.

General Information
The General Information section contains the basic details of your campaign.
Depending on your campaign type, this may include:
- Campaign Name
- Campaign Type
- Assigned Domain
- Campaign Status
- Campaign Description (if available)
Use descriptive names to make campaigns easier to identify later.

Campaign Status
The campaign status determines whether visitors can see your campaign.
Common statuses include:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | The campaign is still being edited and is not visible to visitors. |
| Active | The campaign is live and can be displayed to visitors. |
| Paused | The campaign is temporarily disabled without deleting it. |
| Archived | The campaign is stored for future reference and is no longer active. |
Always review your campaign before changing its status to Active.

Domain Assignment
Choose the website where the campaign will be displayed.
To change the assigned domain:
- Open the Domain dropdown.
- Select one of your configured domains.
- Save your changes.
Campaigns are only displayed on their assigned domain.

Campaign Visibility
Campaign visibility determines when visitors are eligible to see your campaign.
Depending on your configuration, you may be able to specify:
- Specific pages
- Entire website
- Landing pages
- Product pages
- Checkout pages
Use visibility settings together with Workflow Editor Overview and Conditions and Actions for more precise campaign delivery.

Publishing Options
Before publishing, review your campaign settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.
Typical publishing options include:
- Save Draft
- Preview Campaign
- Publish Campaign
- Unpublish Campaign (if available)

Additional Settings
Depending on your workspace and campaign type, additional settings may be available.
Examples include:
- Display frequency
- Animation settings
- Close button behavior

- Desktop visibility
These options allow you to further customize the visitor experience.
You can combine these settings with Triggers and Building Workflows to control when and how campaigns are displayed.

Saving Your Changes
After making updates:
- Review your settings.
- Click Save.
- Preview the campaign if necessary.
- Publish the campaign when you're ready.

Can I change the campaign settings after publishing?
Yes. You can update most campaign settings at any time. After saving your changes, they will be applied according to your publishing configuration.
Will changing the domain move my campaign to another website?
Yes. Once a different domain is selected and the campaign is published, it will be associated with the newly selected domain.
Can I save a campaign without publishing it?
Yes. Saving a campaign as a Draft allows you to continue editing it before making it live.
