Email Input Settings

The Email Input block allows you to collect visitor email addresses directly from your campaign. You can configure how the email form behaves, what visitors see, consent requirements, and validation messages.
To open the settings, select the Email Input element in the Design Editor.
For more information about working with content blocks, see Working with Content Blocks.
The settings are divided into three tabs:
- Settings
- Consent
- Validations

Settings
The Settings tab controls the basic behavior and appearance of the email input.
Actions
The Actions setting determines what happens when a visitor submits their email.
The available option shown is:
- Subscribe email & show case — subscribes the visitor's email and handles the configured success or already-subscribed case.
For more information about configuring actions for campaign elements, see Configuring Element Actions.
Success Case
The Success case determines what happens after an email is successfully submitted.
You can choose:
- Do Nothing — keep the visitor on the current step.
- Step 1 — move the visitor to the selected campaign step.
Use this setting to create a follow-up experience after a successful subscription.
For more information about configuring campaign steps, see Configuring Campaign Steps.
Already Subscribed Case
This setting determines what happens when the visitor's email address is already subscribed.
Available options include:
- Do Nothing — keep the visitor on the current step.
- Step 1 — move the visitor to the selected campaign step.
This is useful when you want to show different content to visitors who have already subscribed.
Label
The Label is displayed alongside the email input and tells visitors what information to enter.
For example:
What is your email?
Placeholder
The Placeholder provides guidance inside the input field before the visitor enters an email address.
For example:
add your email
Button Text
Use Button Text to define the text displayed on the submission button.
For example:
Submit
Choose a short, clear call to action that tells visitors what will happen when they click the button.
For more information about customizing buttons, see Button Content Properties.
Button Position
Use Button Position to choose where the submit button appears relative to the email input.
Available options include:
- Right of input
- Below input
Choose the layout that best fits your popup design.
For more information about arranging elements in your campaign, see Managing Rows and Layout.
Enable Event Bubbling
Use Enable Event Bubbling when the email input needs to pass its interaction event to parent elements or other campaign logic.
Enable it when required by your campaign setup.
Consent
The Consent tab allows you to request visitor agreement to your terms or privacy conditions before submitting their email.
Add a Terms Checkbox
Enable Add a Terms checkbox to display a consent checkbox alongside the email form.
When enabled, visitors must accept the specified conditions before submitting their email.
Consent Text
Enter the text displayed next to the consent checkbox.
For example:
I agree with privacy conditions and processing my personal data
Use clear and appropriate wording that explains what the visitor is agreeing to.
Link to Conditions
Enter the link to your privacy policy, terms, or other applicable conditions.
This gives visitors access to the full terms before they provide consent.
Validations
The Validations tab lets you configure the messages displayed when an email submission cannot be completed.
Each validation has a message field and a Validate toggle. Enable or disable individual validations depending on the requirements of your form.

This validation is used when the visitor has not entered an email address and has not accepted the required terms.

For more information about saving and publishing campaign changes, see Saving and Publishing a Campaign.
