Set Up Your Workspace

A Workspace (listed under Customers) represents an individual website or application that you want to personalize with Tango.ad. Each workspace has its own campaigns, analytics, settings, integrations, and tracking script.
Before creating campaigns, you'll need to create and configure a workspace for your website.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- A Tango.ad account
- Permission to create new workspaces
- Your website's domain name
- Access to your website for tracking script installation
Create a New Workspace
To create a new workspace:
- Sign in to your Tango.ad account.
- From the left navigation menu, click Customers.
- Click + New customer in the top-right corner.
- Enter your website information.
- Save the new workspace.
Once created, the workspace will appear in your Customers list.
Note: Each workspace is managed independently and maintains its own campaigns, analytics, and settings.
Customers Page Overview
The Customers page displays all of your workspaces in one place.
Each row represents a single website or application.
Search Customers
Use the Search customers field to quickly locate a workspace by name.
This is especially useful if you manage multiple websites.
Date Filter
Use the date selector to filter statistics for a specific time period, such as:
- Today
- This week
- This month
- Custom date range
The displayed metrics update based on the selected period.
Customer Status
Each workspace has a status indicator.
Active
An Active workspace can serve campaigns and collect analytics.
Stopped
A Stopped workspace is inactive and will not display campaigns until it is re-enabled.
You can change the status using the toggle switch on the left side of the workspace.
Workspace Information
Each workspace displays several key metrics to help you monitor its performance.
Name
The name of your workspace or website.
You may also see additional labels identifying the associated company or project.
Reach
The total number of visitors who were reached by Tango.ad campaigns during the selected time period.
Conversions
The number of successful conversions generated by your campaigns.
Examples include:
- Email sign-ups
- Form submissions
- Coupon claims
- Other configured conversion goals
Conversion Rate
Shows the percentage of reached visitors who completed a conversion.
This metric helps evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Emails
Displays the number of email addresses collected from campaigns.
Workspace Actions
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of a workspace row to access additional actions.
Depending on your permissions, available actions may include:
- Open the workspace
- Edit workspace settings
- Copy the tracking script
- Manage campaigns
- View analytics
- Delete or archive the workspace
Enable or Disable a Workspace
To activate or deactivate a workspace:
- Locate the workspace in the Customers list.
- Use the toggle switch in the Status column.
- The status updates immediately.
Tip: Deactivating a workspace pauses all active campaigns without deleting them.
Next Steps
After creating your workspace, continue with the setup process:
- Install the Tracking Script on your website.
- Create your first campaign.
- Customize the campaign using the Design Editor.
- Configure campaign behavior in the Workflow Editor.
- Publish the campaign.
- Monitor performance in Analytics.
Once these steps are complete, your workspace will be ready to deliver personalized experiences to your website visitors.
