AI Dashboards: Attribution Settings

The Attribution Settings page allows you to configure how Tango.ad attributes e-commerce revenue to your campaigns. These settings determine when purchases and abandoned carts are credited to campaign interactions, helping ensure your analytics and revenue reports accurately reflect campaign performance.
By default, Tango.ad uses platform-wide attribution settings. You can override these defaults for the current workspace by entering custom values.
For an overview of AI configuration options, see AI Dashboards Overview.
Enable Revenue Attribution
Use the Enable Revenue Attribution toggle to turn campaign revenue attribution on or off.
When enabled:
- Purchases are attributed to eligible Tango.ad campaigns.
- Abandoned carts can be included in attribution reports.
- Revenue metrics appear throughout Analytics dashboards.
When disabled:
- No new purchases or abandoned carts are attributed to campaigns.
- Previously attributed revenue remains unchanged.
For more information about measuring campaign performance and revenue, see Analytics Overview and Cross-Campaign Analytics.
Abandoned Cart Threshold (minutes)
This setting defines how long a shopping cart must remain inactive before it is considered abandoned.
For example:
- 60 minutes means a cart is classified as abandoned after one hour of inactivity.
Purchased carts are attributed immediately and do not use this threshold.
For more information about analyzing abandoned carts and related revenue, see Analytics: Cart Analysis.
Leave Empty to Use Platform Default
If you leave this field blank, Tango.ad uses the platform's default abandoned cart threshold.
Impression Lookback (days)
The Impression Lookback period determines how far back Tango.ad looks for a popup impression when attributing a purchase.
For example:
- 7 days means an order can be attributed if the customer viewed a popup within the previous seven days.
If the popup was displayed before the configured lookback period, the purchase will not be attributed to that campaign.
Leave Empty to Use Platform Default
If this field is empty, Tango.ad applies the platform's default lookback period.
Reset to Defaults
Click Reset to defaults to remove any custom attribution settings and restore the platform's default configuration for the current workspace.
Save Changes
After modifying any attribution settings:
- Review your configuration.
- Click Save changes.
- Tango.ad will apply the updated attribution rules to future campaign activity.
