Mailchimp

The Mailchimp Integration connects Tango.ad with your Mailchimp account, allowing you to automatically synchronize subscribers collected through Tango.ad campaigns with your Mailchimp audience. This integration helps streamline email marketing by keeping your contact lists up to date and ready for campaigns and automations.

To activate the integration, provide your Mailchimp API key and configure your preferred audience settings.

For an overview of available integrations, see Integration Hub Overview.

Configuration Fields

API Key

The API Key authenticates Tango.ad with your Mailchimp account.

If an API key has already been configured, the field displays Saved instead of showing the actual key for security reasons.

Click Replace to enter a new API key.

Required

A valid Mailchimp API Key is required before the integration can be enabled.

If you specify an Audience ID:

  • New subscribers collected through Tango.ad are automatically added to the selected Mailchimp audience.

This field is optional.

Best Practices

  • Keep your Mailchimp API Key secure and never share it publicly.
  • Use a default Audience ID if all subscribers should be added to the same Mailchimp audience automatically.
  • Test the integration after saving your settings to verify that contacts are syncing successfully.
  • Regularly review your Mailchimp audiences to ensure subscribers are being added to the correct list.
  • Disable the integration when it is no longer needed to prevent unnecessary synchronization.
