Ecomail

Overview

The Ecomail Integration connects Tango.ad with your Ecomail account, allowing you to synchronize subscribers collected through campaigns and use Ecomail for email marketing and automation.

To activate the integration, provide your Ecomail API key and, optionally, specify a default mailing list where new subscribers will be added.

Configuration Fields

API Key

The API Key authenticates Tango.ad with your Ecomail account.

If an API key has already been configured, the field displays Saved instead of revealing the actual key for security reasons.

Click Replace to enter a new API key.

Required

A valid API Key is required before the integration can be enabled.

Default List ID (Optional)

The Default List ID specifies which Ecomail contact list new subscribers should be added to by default.

If this field is left empty:

Subscribers may be assigned according to individual campaign settings or other configured defaults.

If you enter a List ID:

New contacts collected through Tango.ad are automatically added to the specified Ecomail list.

This field is optional.

Enable or Disable the Integration

Use the toggle in the upper-right corner of the integration card to enable or disable the Ecomail connection.

When enabled:

Tango.ad can communicate with your Ecomail account.
Subscriber data can be synchronized.
Supported campaigns can automatically add contacts to Ecomail.

When disabled:

Synchronization is paused.
Existing configuration is preserved for future use.

Save Settings

After entering or updating your configuration:

Verify the API Key.
(Optional) Enter a Default List ID.
Click Save Settings.
Tango.ad will validate and save the connection.

Best Practices

Keep your API Key secure and do not share it publicly.
Use a valid Default List ID if you want all collected subscribers to be added to a specific mailing list automatically.
Test the integration after saving your settings to confirm that contacts are syncing correctly.
Periodically review your Ecomail lists to ensure subscribers are being added to the correct audience.
Disable the integration when it is no longer needed to prevent unnecessary synchronization.
