Coupons Overview
The Coupon Management page allows you to create, organize, monitor, and manage coupon pools in Tango.ad. Coupon pools group coupon codes so you can monitor their availability and track assigned coupons.
From this page, you can:
- Create and manage coupon pools.
- Enable or disable coupon pools.
- Monitor coupon availability and assignments.
- Filter coupon pools.
- Configure email notifications for coupon inventory.

What You Can Do
The Coupon Management page allows you to:
- Create new coupon pools.
- View configured coupon pools.
- Filter coupon pools.
- Enable or disable coupon pools.
- Monitor coupon availability and assignments.
- Refresh coupon statistics.
- Access additional pool actions.
- Configure email notifications for coupon pool alerts.
Coupon Pool Overview
The coupon pool table provides an overview of all configured coupon pools.
Each row displays:
- Status — Shows whether the pool is active or inactive.
- Pool Name — The name of the coupon pool.
- Active — The number of available coupons.
- Assigned — The number of coupons already assigned.
- Total — The total number of coupons in the pool.
- Actions — Provides additional pool management options.
At the top of the table, a summary displays:
- Active coupons across all pools.
- Assigned coupons across all pools.
Filter Coupon Pools
Use the All Pools dropdown to filter the displayed coupon pools.
Select the appropriate option to display the coupon pools you want to review.
Create a Coupon Pool
Click + Create Pool in the upper-right corner to create a new coupon pool.
- Enter a unique Pool Name.
- Click Create Pool.
After creation, the pool appears in the Coupon Management list.
You can add coupon codes to the pool from the pool details page.
Coupon Pool Status
Each coupon pool has an On/Off toggle and a status indicator.
Active
When a pool is Active:
- Coupons from the pool are available for assignment.
- The pool can be used by campaigns and automations.
- Active coupon counts are updated as coupons are assigned.
Inactive
When a pool is Inactive:
- The pool is unavailable for new coupon assignments.
- Existing assigned coupons remain unchanged.
- The pool configuration and data are preserved until the pool is reactivated.
Coupon Pool Information
Each pool displays several key metrics.
Pool Name
The name used to identify the coupon pool.
Active
Displays the number of unused coupons currently available within the pool.
These coupons are ready to be assigned.
Assigned
Displays the number of coupons that have already been assigned to customers or campaigns.
Assigned coupons are no longer counted as active inventory.
Total
Displays the total number of coupons contained in the pool.
Total = Active + Assigned
This provides an overview of the pool's coupon inventory.
Refresh Coupon Data
Click the Refresh icon in the upper-right corner of the table to reload the coupon pool statistics.
Refreshing updates:
- Active coupon counts.
- Assigned coupon counts.
- Pool totals.
- Current pool status.
Use Refresh after importing coupons or making changes to reload the displayed information.
Additional Pool Actions
Each coupon pool has a More Actions (⋮) menu for additional pool management options.
The exact actions available in this menu must be confirmed in the current interface before they are documented individually.
Email Notifications
The Email Notifications section lets you configure who receives alerts about coupon pool availability.
Notifications help administrators monitor coupon inventory and identify when pools need additional coupons.
The notification types available in the current configuration should be confirmed in the app before individual alerts are listed here.
Notification Recipient
The configured email address receives coupon pool alert notifications.
Example:
The current configuration displays one notification recipient.
Edit Notification Recipient
Click Edit to modify the notification recipient.
Enter the email address that should receive coupon pool alerts and save the updated configuration.
Clear Notification Recipient
Click Clear to remove the configured notification recipient.
After clearing the recipient, configure a new email address to resume receiving notifications.
Best Practices
- Keep coupon pools active only while they are needed.
- Monitor the Active coupon count to avoid running out of available coupons.
- Configure an email notification recipient to monitor coupon inventory.
- Use descriptive pool names to make coupon pools easy to identify.
- Refresh the page after importing or assigning coupons to reload the statistics.
- Review inactive pools regularly and remove those that are no longer needed.
- Maintain sufficient coupon inventory before launching campaigns or promotional events.
