Coupons Overview

The Coupon Management page allows you to create, organize, monitor, and manage coupon pools used within Tango.ad. Coupon pools help organize groups of coupon codes, monitor their availability, and track assigned coupons.
From this page, you can create new coupon pools, enable or disable pools, monitor coupon availability, filter existing pools, and configure email notifications for low stock or depleted coupon pools.

What You Can Do
The Coupon Management page allows you to:
- Create new coupon pools.
- View all available coupon pools.
- Filter coupon pools.
- Enable or disable coupon pools.
- Monitor coupon availability and assignments.
- Refresh coupon statistics.
- Access additional pool actions.
- Configure email notifications for coupon pool alerts.
Coupon Pool Overview
The coupon pool table provides an overview of all configured coupon pools.
Each row displays:
- Pool status
- Pool name
- Number of active coupons
- Number of assigned coupons
- Total coupons in the pool
- Additional actions menu
At the top of the table, a summary displays:
- Active coupons across all pools
- Assigned coupons across all pools
Example:
- Active: 174
- Assigned: 84
Filter Coupon Pools
Use the All Pools dropdown to filter the displayed coupon pools.
The dropdown displays the total number of available pools.
Example:
All Pools (5)
Depending on your configuration, additional filters may be available.
Create a Coupon Pool
Click + Create Pool in the upper-right corner to create a new coupon pool.
During pool creation, you can typically:
- Specify a pool name.
- Import or generate coupon codes.
- Configure pool settings.
- Activate the pool once it is ready for use.
After creation, the new pool appears in the Coupon Management list.
Coupon Pool Status
Each coupon pool includes an On/Off toggle and a status badge.
Active
When a pool is Active:
- Coupons from the pool are available for assignment.
- The pool can be used by campaigns and automations.
- Active coupon counts continue to update.
Inactive
When a pool is Inactive:
- The pool is unavailable for new coupon assignments.
- Existing assigned coupons remain unchanged.
- Pool data is preserved until it is reactivated.
Coupon Pool Information
Each pool displays several key metrics.
Pool Name
The unique name used to identify the coupon pool.
Examples:
- 10za900
- BlackFriday
- BlackFriday10
- BlackFriday_2
Active
Displays the number of unused coupons currently available within the pool.
These coupons are ready to be assigned.
Assigned
Displays the number of coupons that have already been assigned to customers or campaigns.
Assigned coupons are no longer counted as active inventory.
Total
Displays the total number of coupons contained in the pool.
Formula:
Total = Active + Assigned
This provides a quick overview of the pool's remaining availability.
Refresh Coupon Data
Click the Refresh icon in the upper-right corner of the table to reload coupon pool statistics.
Refreshing updates:
- Active coupon counts
- Assigned coupon counts
- Pool totals
- Current pool status
Use this option after importing coupons or making changes to ensure the displayed information is up to date.
Additional Pool Actions
Each coupon pool includes a More Actions (⋮) menu.
Depending on your permissions and configuration, available actions may include:
- Edit pool details
- View pool information
- Import additional coupons
- Export coupon data
- Delete a pool
The available options may vary based on your Tango.ad version and user permissions.
Email Notifications
The Email Notifications section allows you to configure who receives alerts related to coupon pool availability.
Notifications help administrators monitor coupon inventory and prevent campaigns from running out of available coupons.
Alerts may include:
- Coupon pool depleted
- Low coupon stock
- Other inventory-related notifications
Notification Recipient
The configured email address receives coupon pool alert notifications.
Example:
Only one notification recipient is shown in the current configuration.
Edit Notification Recipient
Click Edit to modify the notification recipient.
You can update the email address that should receive coupon pool alerts.
Changes take effect after saving the updated configuration.
Clear Notification Recipient
Click Clear to remove the configured notification recipient.
Once cleared:
- No email notifications are sent until a new recipient is configured.
- Coupon pool monitoring remains active.
Best Practices
- Keep coupon pools active only while they are needed.
- Monitor the Active coupon count regularly to avoid running out of available coupons.
- Configure an email notification recipient to receive low stock and depletion alerts.
- Use descriptive pool names to make coupon pools easy to identify.
- Refresh the page after importing or assigning coupons to ensure statistics are current.
- Periodically review inactive pools and remove those that are no longer required.
- Maintain sufficient coupon inventory before launching campaigns or promotional events.
